Effective from April 1, 2019
As per this change, the list of approved post-secondary credentials for PG Work Permit holders will not start taking effect until April 1, 2019. After this date, holders of PGWP will get a consideration if their course is listed.
Such candidates can still submit an application in the Alberta Opportunity Stream when the work permit is backed by a positive LMIA. They need to qualify for Alberta immigration by using the Alberta Express Entry.
