Focus of Canada Express Entry Draws

Applicants are placed as per their Comprehensive Ranking System score, which grants points, depends on factors including education, work experience, age, and French or English language proficiency, Canada’s two official languages. This year has noticed that I.R.C.C launched large, regulated draw sizes that have grown gradually over the course of the year up to the prevailing high of 3,900 ITA's.

I.R.C.C stabilized a base of 2,750 ITA’s over the opening two draws of 2018 and then increased steadily by gains of 250 or 500 approximately every eight weeks, moving 3,900 ITAs on September 5. The unique all-program invitation round to change from this model was the Express Entry draw on September 19, when the size of the draw was decreased to 3,500. I.R.C.C has now announced 66,400 ITA’s entirely over 21 draws in 2018.

Below its Plan of Multi-Year Immigration Levels, the Canadian Government has an aim of 74,900 for the latest admissions in 2018 and 81,400 for the year 2019 by the Federal Skilled Worker Class, the Canadian Experience Class, and the Federal Skilled Trades Class.

This Express Entry Draw has the least C.R.S score of 445, and it is a slight increase of four points over the earlier draw held on September 19, which had the least score of C.R.S 441. Express Entry applicants can develop their ranking in many ways, including a provincial nomination that issue in 600 extra C.R.S points.
