Express Entry Issued 3687 ITA's for a score of 415 CRS points

17th May witnessed Canada’s 62nd Express Entry draw where 3687 aspirants received invitation to apply for PR by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Candidates having a minimum score of 415 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) only received the Invitation in the Express entry draw. The applicants who have got through the ITA are now able to submit their final documents to get the status of the Permanent Residency (PR) in Canada.

A score of 423 CRS points was required in the previous draw which happened on 4th May. The step was done to garner more applicants by reducing the score from 423 points to 415. The year has received a maximum of 43456 ITA’s till now. The number of ITAs issued this year is far more than the previous years. 

The Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System set 415 CRS points for the Express Entry draw. This step was taken to achieve more visa applications for Permanent residency to Canada Immigration. The primary candidate can bring their family members - spouse, children according to criteria set.
