Growth in the number of foreign students to Australia by 15%
Australia witnessed an increase in the no. of foreign students enrolling in the various courses after graduation or preliminary education. A total of 520,737 students have enrolled from other nationalities. The top five countries being India china,Malaysia, Vietnam with China ahead of all these countries whose enrollments have reported to be the highest.

This has bought in AUD 20.3 billion of investment pouring in the education sector which will add to country's economic welfare with a majority share coming from higher education at 54% followed by vocational trainings and other trainings.

The higher education programs and other trainings not only fulfills the pursuits of educational advantage added to any student’s career but also demonstrate new learning’s which will help him or her to grow better education imparted to these international students gets Australia an inwards flow of 15-16 billion USD income every year and is supposed to rise subsequently with growth in jobs and other technological advancements.

Alex Hawke, Minister  at  Assistant Immigration and Border Protection said, “All education sectors had experienced growth in the number of international students during the first quarter of 2017 – the Elicos sector grew by almost 38 percent, the higher education sector by almost 23 percent and the VET sector by almost 13 percent”.
