114 candidates in Express Entry receive Letters of Advice to Apply in the recent draw
592 candidates receive Invitations to apply seeking the provincial nomination in Manitoba’s Expression of Interest pool. These also include 114 Express Entry candidates.
These invitations benefit the candidates in Skilled Workers in Manitoba, and Skilled Workers Overseas streams, of the province. The EE candidates received invitations using the Pathway which is linked to the Express Entry system of the federal government. It administers applications for three economic immigration categories of the federal government. These are the:
EE candidates who apply for the provincial nomination and receive it, in fact get 600 additional points in their CRS score. This assures them to get the Invitation to Apply for Canadian PR in the subsequent EE draw.
In the June 21st draw, only those Express Entry candidates, who had a score of 562, in the point’s structure of Manitoba Expression of Interest, received Letters of Advice to Apply.
The first step to take for the EE Pathway is the Registration of an E.O.I., with the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. All candidates need have a valid Express Entry profile. Interested candidates must also possess six months of recent work experience in a Manitoba occupation which has a good demand.
Candidates also need the confirmed support of a relative/ close friend who is a resident of of the province for one year.
Manitoba issued 150 L.A.A.s in the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream to those candidates who scored 579 marks, and had these criteria:
115 Skilled Worker Overseas candidates, having a score of 703, received invitations, directly by the M.P.N.P., through the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. This Initiative includes Recruitment missions also.
These abroad employment immigration fairs involve representatives of the Program, who interview skilled workers, of foreign lands. Afterwards, they get the invitation to apply, on making a formal EOI to the Program.
The Program also invites people who undertake a pre-approved Exploratory Visit and pass in an interview conducted by program official.
The province also invited 213 Skilled Workers in Manitoba candidates who had a score of 522.
These candidates, who showed that they are working in a regulated occupation, and are in possession of a license to work in the province, were selected in the draw.
