Manitoba Created Tremendous Record by Welcoming 130,000 Immigrants

Manitoba Welcomes 130,000 Immigrants

Manitoba Province is observing the 20th anniversary for its Provincial Nominee Program, which has welcomed with open arms for higher than 130,000 immigrants since its beginning in the year 1998.

The making of the MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program), gave the province for opening in Canada to call newcomers for permanent residence by streams designed to its economic requirements and preferences.

Most provinces in Canada and territories have since supported Manitoba’s lead and now have a PNP, of their own. The only Canadian province without a PNP is Quebec, which has a different immigration agreement with the federal government of Canada.

Manitoba's Positive Population and Economic Growth

The Manitoba province states its GDP could be 30 percentages lesser today without the economic advantage of this immigration growth produced by the M.P.N.P, and immigrants who entered the Manitoba province by its Business streams have spent higher than $308 million in this province.

As per the province, a remarkable 90 percent of immigrants are hired within their initial year in Manitoba and about the same percent stay in this province.

Manitoba Province Reforms

Over the preceding 20 years, Manitoba province has advanced to fine-tune the M.P.N.P, starting a business immigrant’s nomination stream in the year 2001 and joining new streams for the skilled worker in the years that succeeded.

Express Entry Launched in 2015, controls the pool of applicants for Canada’s three important economic immigration categories

  • Canadian Experience Class
  • Federal Skilled Trades Class
  • Federal Skilled Worker Class

The M.P.N.P has now announced 1,155 ITA's for a provincial nomination to qualified Express Entry applicants since the stream became effective in January 2018. To be considered for Express Entry Stream of Manitoba, people must have a strong Express Entry profile and present an EOI to the MPNP.
