Ontario Categorical Entry Stream Targets Information & Communications Employees
The applicant in the Express Entry pool for Canada immigration with job experience in the Information & Communications Technology Sector (ICT) are registering for immigration by the province of Ontario, under a new scheme enforce for the week starting on June 26.

The amend to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) study the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream, which is aligned with the Federal Express Entry immigration selection system.

Whereas until this point Ontario searched the Express Entry pool and announced Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to Applicants with at least 400 CRS points, the new strategy also allows the government of Ontario to issue NOIs to candidates who meet all other Human Capital Priorities Stream criteria and who have indicated job experience in a particular target occupation recognize by the OINP.

Significantly, it is now possible for Information and Communications Technology Sector employee to be present a Notifications of Interest by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program under the Human Capital Priorities, even if they have a Comprehensive Ranking System score below 400.
