In the June 21 draw, Prince Edward Island has invited 135 immigration candidates for applying in Business Impact and Labor Impact categories.
Of these 32 candidates are in the Express Entry system of the federal government through the Island’s Express Entry immigration category.
The PEI P.N.P. also stated that the EE candidates receiving these invitations were working in the province already.
Such candidates must create a profile in the Expression of Interest system of the province, which is in place since February to get a consideration in the Express Entry Category.
These candidates who get the nomination from PEI receive also obtain extra 600 Comprehensive Ranking System points.
The province also issued Labor Impact invitations to 60 candidates, and also 43 candidates in Business Impact category. The authorities did not provide EOI score range for the candidates.
PEI’s Labor Impact Category aims to attract persons who possess skills and experience required in the provincial labor market. The category has three streams:
Furthermore, the Office of Immigration did not disclose a breakdown of the candidates, receiving the invitation, through each stream in the Labor Impact Category.
These candidates had an E.O.I. score range from 140 to 157.
