Additionally, 60 candidates received invitations under the Labour Impact Category of PEI PNP. This Category has three streams of Skilled Workers, Critical Workers and finally International Graduates.43 business applicants also received invitations to apply in this draw, who had submitted Expression of Interest in the Business Impact Category.
Individuals who show an interest to apply to the PEI P.N.P. Labor Impact as well as Express Entry categories need to initially submit an Expression of Interest to the province.
Candidates in the pool get a score based on the connection to the province,. There are marks also for education, work experience, training and proficiency in a language.
There is a three step process
All immigration applications which are submitted to the PEI PNP have a three-step process:
Step 1: Creating an account and submitting a profile in the EOI system.
Step 2: The eligible candidates with high ranks and having a connection to Island receive an invitations to submit an application to the PEI PNP.
Step 3: Subsequent to reviewing the paper application received by the Office of Immigration, candidates obtaining the provincial nomination also submit, to the Government of Canada, a separate application to get Permanent Residence.
For the Province’s EE category, candidates get a score from 100 marks based on the factors of proficiency in a language age, education, employment, work experience, and adaptability.
This Express Entry Stream has two pathways, and one Stream also considers candidates who do not have a job offer in Island.
Candidates must also note that submitting an EOI is not equal to giving an application. It is only an indication to the province that a person is interested in joining the immigration stream. Presently, the Government of PEI is not charging a fee for submitting an EOI.
