Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program has introduced a new system to manage the Provincial Nominee Program. Considering these changes, the P.N.P. will invite several skilled workers who live overseas to immigrate to Canada. This program has all the features to a golden ticket to seek Canadian immigration.
SINP is a Provincial Nominee Program supervised by the prairie province of Saskatchewan. Such programs permit the provinces to select fresh immigrants for meeting their specific needs. The PNP of Saskatchewan is aims to select experienced immigrants in its in-demand occupations.
Additionally for such candidates, who have experience, in any of these occupations, Saskatchewan offers two immigration programs:
An exciting feature regarding the Occupations In-Demand stream is the existence of a relaxed language requirement.
Many immigration programs of Canada need a minimum level of language proficiency in English/French. Express Entry, which is a popular pathway for immigration, as a rule requires a CLB 7 , which is a minimum of 6.0 in four categories of IELTS.
The Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand stream needs candidates to prove language proficiency only at CLB 4, which is 3.5 in reading, and 4.0 in writing/speaking. Additionally it needs 4.5 in listening.
Doing well on the IELTS is a main concern for the people interested to immigrate to Canada; the relaxed requirements present an excellent opportunity to them.
These programs are functioning for some time; they always work on the model of the timing of arrival. Furthermore, they only accept minimum number of applications in limited intakes. There is no announcement regarding these intake periods by the province ahead of time. It is a huge challenge here to submit an application. At the last instance, the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream opened, and reached its maximum intake quota, to close within 24 hours.
Saskatchewan is now introducing a new system to manage the applications for both these programs. The Expression of Interest system presently in use is similar to the Express Entry.
Thus all the candidates can submit an EOI at any time. The profile will enter the pool, from where Saskatchewan will select eligible candidates for applying to the program. This will immensely help to create a fair application process for all stake holders.
Moreover this will also lead to fast processing time. The EE applications for PR are processed within four months. Saskatchewan will use a similar system, and there will be quickness in the processing time to seek the provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.
Additionally after obtaining the provincial nomination, the candidates, need to apply to IRCC to get the permanent residence in Canada. The Government gives a priority to the provincial nominees for immigration. When the application is complete in all respects and there is no security or medical issue, the processing is very quick.
