Saskatchewan Added 13 new Professions in the In-Demand Occupations List - April 05, 2019

Saskatchewan Added 13 new Professions in the In-Demand Occupations List
Interactive media developers and Computer programmers are among 13 occupations that have been attached to the In-Demand Occupations List of Saskatchewan.

Work experience in a profession on the province’s In-Demand Professions List is a demand for both the Occupation In-Demand and Federal Express Entry sub-categories of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (S.I.N.P). An employment offer, however, is not needed for both sub-categories.

The S.I.N.P is part of Canadian Provincial Nominee Program, which permits participating territories and provinces to nominate a stable number of economic immigration aspirants for Canadian PR.

Aspirants in the Canadian Express Entry pool who receive a provincial nomination by the S.I.N.P’s Express Entry sub-category are given an extra 600 points via their ranking score, efficiently guaranteeing an invitation to appeal for Canada PR.

Applicants who are not in the pool of Federal Express Entry may also be able to seek a nomination by the S.I.N.P by the sub-category of Occupation In-Demand.

24 Professions on the Updated List

Both the Occupation In-Demand and Federal Express Entry sub-categories practice the In-Demand Professions List among their qualification criteria.

The new professions are among 24 that are presently on the updated list, which the S.I.N.P updated on April 4, 2019.

Nine professions were eliminated as part of the update. Of the 24 professions now listed, 09 do not need the status of professional or licensure. All nine are professions that were attached as part of the update, and each one has designated educational criteria.

The S.I.N.P updates its List of In-Demand Occupations periodically to secure prospects of positive employment in the Saskatchewan province.

Given that the modifications initiated on April 4 could be updated again soon, applicants whose professions are on the revised In-Demand Professions List and who have not provided an Expression of Interest to the S.I.N.P and may aspire to consider their profile need to submit EOI in soon.
